Luxury health insurance plan relaunched

Tue, 05 Dec 2006

AXA PPP healthcare, one of the foremost health insurance companies in the UK, has relaunched a private medical insurance plan at the upper end of the range. The plan, Premier Plus, will pay for ‘any drugs’ sought by the oncologist acting on behalf of the client. The new Premier Plus plan will also cover any cancer drug, for the duration of the period the oncologist wishes to use it for.

The benefits of the study do not stop there, and include a health check for policyholders every two years for those over the age of 18. Other benefits include hearing aids, chiropody, eye tests and even cover for prescription glasses or contact lenses every two years.

The sales and marketing director of AXA PPP healthcare, Chris Horlick, said: "Premier Plus is a distinctive prestige product. The inclusion of exceptional cover for cancer treatment sets it apart from conventional plans and takes it to another level."

The policy also allows customers to use any hospital throughout the UK.
