Health Shield improve health insurance cash plans

Wed, 06 Dec 2006

Health Shield will improve their individual Direct Healthcare and Business Cover Cashback health cash plans. The company will send the details of their adjustments to existing cash plan holders during the course of this December.

Health Shield are carrying out the revisions in order to make sure that their members will continue to receive the benefits that they want, as well as the high levels of customer care expected.

The company will also include several new levels of complementary therapy, taking effect from January 1st 2007. Those individuals who have company sponsored tailored scheme members as well as flexible benefits schemes are subject to their own terms and conditions.

Cash plans are generally a cheaper way of getting private medical insurance, albeit with reduced treatment options and without the same flexibility. The move by Health Shiled mirrors adjustments by AXA yesterday to their premium private health insurance policy.
