Health insurance company to test the nation

Wed, 22 Nov 2006

Leading health insurer Norwich Union Healthcare plans to launch a nationwide campaign with the aim of finding out how much people know about their health. The study, entitled A Question of Health, will question people on healthcare, anatomy, illness, fitness and first aid.

Divided into thirty questions, respondents will receive follow-up emails showing how they performed in comparison to others. As well as filling in the form, which will be sent by email, A Question of Health also gives participants the chance to sign up for free trials of Norwich Union Personal Health Manager, or a quote for private health insurance .

The e-Customer Manager at Norwich Union Healthcare explains: "We want to see how much people know about their own health then collect as many results as possible from all over the country. We will then be able to compare the results by gender, region, age and occupation, which will be displayed in graphs on the site. We’ll be publicising the results at a later date."
