Free dental accident cover from Tesco Health Insurance

Tesco, who only recently entered the health insurance and private medical insurance market, are now set to offer dental insurance .

To attract customers, the supermarket financial services entity are offering free dental accident plans to accompany their new dental insurance products. Customers who are then covered for standard dental procedures can also rest easy that they are covered for major, unplanned treatment.

The two Tesco dental insurance products offer varying levels of cover, starting at just £8.95 per month for Tesco Dental Insurance Core Cover. One level up, Tesco Dental Insurance Premium Cover, from £16.95 per month, offers greater benefits.

The head of Tesco Health and Dental Insurance, Jeremy Sutton, reportedly commented: "Only a small number of organizations currently offer dental insurance. Our approach will open up the market to people who want the choice that dental insurance offers. We aim to offer products that are simple, good value and easy to buy."
