According to one American survey, sixty-seven percent of respondents are happy with their health insurance plans. The figure, which is sure to please insurance companies, is up 64 per cent on last year.
The survey, conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center, was based on data from 37,000 American medical insurance plan holders. Mark Kotkin, the director of survey research, reportedly commented: "Most people are fairly well satisfied on average."
Readers of the survey were asked to rate their private health insurance plans on a scale of satisfaction that charted six-points from doctor choice, to care received, to billing and processing and access to physicians. Particular insurance companies scored better than others.
