Thu, 04 Jan 2007

Are you feeling pretty unhealthy after a festive period overdoing it? Don’t worry, you are not the only one. PruHealth are giving new customers the chance to work off their Christmas pounds… for free.

PruHealth, one of the most popular health insurance companies in the UK, are offering a six-month free gym membership to those new customers who join in either January or February. The membership will be free for six months, after which they will be discounted at selected partner gyms.

The direct marketing and partnerships director at PruHealth, Nick Read, said: "Last January, nearly 40 per cent of Brits said they planed to start a new exercise routine as part of their New Year 'new me' resolutions. However, I'm sure that for the majority, visits to the gym dwindled after the first couple of months."

For those people who apply for health insurance online, PruHealth will also offer 100 pounds worth of Boots vouchers.
