Private medical insurance firm bought out

The specialist private medical insurance intermediary, Preferred Medical, have been bought out by Chase Templeton Group. The details of the deal remain to be seen, but the news is good for the health insurance firm, who are based in Somerset.

Under the terms and conditions of the purchase, the managing director of Preferred Medical will join Chase Templeton Ltd and a new company will be created that will focus on Private health insurance sales. Taylor is no stranger to high-end roles, as the chairman of the Association of Medical Insurance Intermediaries.

Chase Templeton has adopted an aggressive purchase policy, although this is their largest to date. Their acquisitions in the past have included Health Matters Ltd and PHA ltd.
