Travel insurance covers medical health whilst abroad, and being completely open with the insurance company could mean avoiding rejected claims or a dispute. Medical information is a key revelation, as it accounts for the majority of travel health insurance complaints.
Like all insurance applications, non-disclosure sets the policyholder up for a fall. Insurance companies need to know all health problems, both of yourself and your family. The insurance company needs to know everything, and if a question is asked, it must be answered.
In particular, insurance companies must know any medical conditions their policyholder suffers from, no matter how irrelevant or un-linked to the insurance policy they seem.
