The private medical insurance company Exeter Friendly Society have signed an exclusive new UK affiliation partnership with a company called CareBridges International.

CareBridges are an alliance of top international insurance companies that were created with the aim of sharing services and expertise between the members. Carebridges is particularly useful in the field of international insurance and insurance for expats.

The new arrangement will allow the Exeter Friendly Society to make sure that their expatriate customers are given suitable treatment. Members of Carebridges International are able to access local expertise from other members, giving a head-start in dealing with claims . Partners include a variety of insurance companies from around the world.

Health insurance is a more global industry than ever before, and cross-company relationships can make all the difference when it comes to insurance company policies and direction. Recent medical insurance news indicated that British holidaymakers shouldn't necessarily rely on their European Health Insurance Card, and should instead find a travel insurance or international health insurance policy .
