Health insurance company links with football club

A health insurance company based in Manchester has hooked up with football team Manchester City, becoming the official healthcare partner of the team.

The new boss of the company, James Glover, says he wants HealthSure to take an active role in the local community. Furthemore, he is planning to increase and adapt the range of health insurance services the company offers to include counselling and a flu jab package.

Glover reportedly commented: "Once upon a time things like dental and optical checks were free of charge and access to these services was relatively easy. However, in recent years this has changed considerably and more and more people realise they have to plan for their healthcare needs. Plans like ours are for both everyday and rainy days in that customers can save for everyday basic health needs as well as for unforeseen events. Our plans pay out for things like physiotherapy sessions as well a lump sum to cover loss of income in the event of someone being admitted to hospital. HealthSure also covers both NHS and private treatment."

HealthSure provide a range of health cash plans to help meet the cost of everday health care, whilst still being more affordable than private medical insurance .
