A new report by Saga health insurance indicates that people become less stressed out as they get older, largely due to less pressure about money .
Fresh research by the company, who offer a range of financial services products on the UK market, investigated age range related to stress . The company, who offer life insurance in addition to their medical insurance products, found that two-thirds of young British people in their teens or early twenties stress about money.
In contrast, just 20 per cent of over-50s face the same burden. The chief executive of Saga, Andrew Goodsell, reportedly commented: "It's well documented that many of today's baby-boomers have never had it so good. This study clearly shows that they are also the most relaxed and dispels the view that many have a mid-life crisis when they reach their 50s."
