Health insurance provider launches Facebook planner

Tue, 15 Apr 2008

Revealing the extent to which social networking sites such as Facebook have infiltrated the lifestyle of UK consumers, health insurance cash plan provider HSA have launched the first ever lifestyle and health personal planner for Facebook users.

The HSA Personal Planner is available to Facebook users, who can include the software as part of the profile and download it to their desktop. Using a special character as a reminder, individuals can then enter their lifestyle or health related appointment.

The Head of Brand Development at HSA, Claire Lee, reportedly commented: "We all have a health conscience that nags away at us – visit the dentist, go to the optician, and this tool can help take the worry out of remembering when all these appointments are coming up. Plus, with everyone leading such busy lives, unfortunately important appointments like these sometimes get forgotten. We hope that the HSA Personal Planner can help to give people the nudge they need to remember these dates, in a fun and light-hearted way."
