Tesco Personal Finance has announced there will be a 25 percent reduction to the premiums of child health insurance policies purchased before the 8th of January; the reductions will be valid for the first year of the policy .
This means that according to Tesco, its child protection plan now costs GBP 7.49 per month for one child and GBP 6.49 for any additional children added to the policy, this is a reduction from the GBP 9.99 and GBP 8.99 it cost previously.
Tesco Personal finance has reportedly said; With the Tesco Child Healthcare plan you have greater choice of when to see a specialist following a referral from your GP, potentially providing quicker access to diagnostic tests.
The insurance covers tests ordered by a specialist however doesn’t protect against accident and emergency treatments.
