Wed, 30 Jan 2008

According to reports in the health insurance news, Tesco Health Insurance are planning to offer new customers free cover for three months.

The health insurance company will offer a year’s worth of cover for the cost of nine months. The health insurance policy could, therefore, save consumers over £200 per annum.

Customers need to move fast though, as the offer closes on the 5th of March. The head of Health Insurance at Tesco, Jeremy Sutton, reportedly commented: "At the beginning of every year we all resolve to be healthier. This discount will encourage those to stick to their New Year resolutions. The offer will go along way towards helping people to meet their private healthcare needs, with early access to treatment from an experienced specialist, in privacy and comfort, at a time that’s convenient."

Tesco health insurance have had a major impact on the market since commencing business last year.
