Medical insurance cover on travel insurance

The international health insurance company IHI Danmark will provide unlimited medical cover to consumers that take out travel insurance . Customers can then travel with guaranteed peace of mind that their medical evacuation and medical expenses are covered in full.

The sales and service manager of IHI Travel insurance, Eva Nittegaard, reportedly commented: "It is essential that people know what they are covered for when they buy their travel insurance, especially where their health is concerned. By taking out a policy with unlimited cover there are no grey areas and no nasty surprises when you come to claim – we will cover it all. IHI now has one of the most comprehensive travel insurance products on the market."

This type of medical addition to a travel insurance policy also allows access to the IHI multi-lingual emergency service, 24 hours a day. IHI employ a team of medical specialists, from doctors to professors, to give advice and opinions.
