Tesco Health Insurance one year old

Supermarket health insurance service Tesco Health Insurance is celebrating its one year birthday. The medical insurance product was launched to open up the market for this type of product, and do away with the idea that private medical insurance was only for the rich.

Tesco Health Insurance policies prioritise simplicity and value, with no medical questions asked for those applicants under 75. Tesco offer three levels of health insurance cover, depending on the requirements of the policyholder.

The head of Tesco Health Insurance, Jeremy Sutton, reportedly commented: "Health insurance is about quickly finding out what's wrong with you and then making sure you have it treated promptly. With prices like this, we hope to show just how affordable health insurance can be."
