According to recent research by Tesco Dental Insurance, men will spend more money looking after their teeth. The financial services provider conducted the study alongside the British Dental Health Foundation, surveying a total of over 1,000 people in the UK. Whether this really means that men have the white smile remains to be seen.
The survey found that over 30 per cent of women spent nothing on dental treatment in the last 12 months, with some 45 per cent put off due to the cost.
Tesco Dental Insurance expert Jeremy Sutton was reported in the news as saying: Dental treatment can be expensive, in some cases costing £86 for an extraction. With cover from just £9.95 a month, Tesco Dental Insurance helps manage the cost and covers for routine NHS and private dental treatment.
