Features in the health insurance news question whether men should consider private medical insurance, with the revelation this week that they are more likely than women to develop one of the more common types of cancer .
The research, by the National Cancer Intelligence Network, saw no biological reason for this to be so. However, men typically lead unhealthier lifestyles and are reluctant to get symptoms checked by a doctor.
