Major health insurance company Norwich Union Healthcare are all set to launch a new international private medical insurance product. The health insurance policy will replace the existing Global Care policy plan.
The new health insurance cover will be called International Solutions. As well as basic cover, the insurance policy will offer wellness benefits and the option of co-payment. Furthermore, the structure of the policy will provide customers with the flexibility to change, add or remove different elements.
The private medical insurance market remains healthy, according to news from the ABI (Association of British Insurers) earlier this year. However, as the full economic impact of the credit crunch is felt, it may be that Pmi figures are affected.
