Six week health insurance plan from AXA

Private medical insurance company AXAPPP has launched a new six-week private medical insurance plan for businesses. The plan, which is aimed at larger sized companies, will be called Corporate Health Plan .

Corporate Health Plan 6 gives employees access to private outpatient treatment immediately. This includes all specialist consultations and scans. As well as this, the private medical insurance cover gives access to private treatment should the NHS be unable to treat the patient within a six week period.

The product was trialled by health insurance firm AXAPPP in a soft launch during August, and the new arrangement could help to lower insurance premiums by as much as 15%.
