According to health insurance news, both private medical insurance companies and hospitals in the independent sector have made it clear that they will work together to make sure all receive the best healthcare possible at an affordable price.
Health Insurance held an Independent Sector Healthcare Forum late last year, which brought together insurance companies, hospital providers, insurance intermediaries and clinicians to discuss trends in the private medical industry.
A number of interesting trends were highlighted, including the fact that independent hospitals are often working hard for the NHS . Some hospitals in this sector work alongside the NHS, but focus on delivering high-end services to customers that pay.
