According to health insurance news today, a biotech company has secured a deal with health insurance association Bupa . The deal will allow member companies to obtain competitive medical insurance policies . The deal was arranged by Focus Independent Insurance Consultants for the not-for-profit biotech group Oxfordshire Bioscience Network Ltd.
The scheme will give member companies the chance to pay a single flat fee per employee covered, regardless of how old they are or what their medical history contains. The deal will simplify the decision making process for a variety of different members.
The new medical insurance scheme is the first to be arranged by a life sciences trade association throughout the world.
