Innovative health insurance company PruHealth has launched an exciting website feature. Now, visitors to the medical insurance website will be able to use an interactive hospital finder tool, which displays a list of nearest hospitals by destination based on the postcode of the visitor.
The new tool provides information about the distance to the hospital, and also lists a variety of useful health information about the hospital. Similar tools are offered by private medical insurance companies such as AXA PPP Healthcare, Bupa and Standard Life .
The online hospital finder helps patients to understand where healthcare facilities are located, and could have a role to play for customers with medical insurance policies . Many private health insurance policyholders choose this type of insurance to make sure they can be treated quickly and conveniently at a private hospital of their choosing. This, coupled with the perception of better hygiene in private hospitals, is what attracts many people away from the National Health Service.
