Aviva UK Health has launched MyHealthCounts for Business, a set of tools to help tackle key health risk areas within companies, and encourage employees to take steps to lead healthier lifestyles. If employees complete an online health questionnaire and reach an average health score, employers can receive up to 100 per cent discount from their private medical insurance premiums for the following year.
Employers can also buy key benefits such as online health risk assessment, health reporting and a number of internal communications materials . To establish how healthy they are, employees must determine a Q score based on personal health information include BMI, resting heart rate, cholesterol level, blood pressure and other lifestyle factors.
Online health coaches can then help employees to set meaningful goals, offer personalised advice and support steps to improve and maintain health . The move is a novel approach to group health insurance that could help your company to improve employee health.
